We were invited to design a new retail bike store specializing in high performance road bikes and gear located in Manhattan’s East Village.  Three diverging paths disseminate from the entry door leading towards the rear of the store which houses the cyclist’s lounge and repair shop.  The paths rise from the floor to reveal merchandise shelves below.

Designed and constructed on a tight schedule, the goal was to balance maximized display with visual simplicity.  Our solution was to simplify the merchandise to one display.  Each clothing sample is hung on an armature of bent steel rod, and sized stock is folded and stored on shelving below.
