Cataviary And Tubes Over Tubes
The Cats-in-Residence Program is back! Our fourth iteration opens Wednesday, July 13 through Sept. 4 at the Worcester Art Museum, Worcester MA. We're part of 'Meow: A Cat-Inspired Exhibition' which opened May 20. At each venue we developed a unique component for the cats that have included a hyperboloid enclosure, a carpeted staircase, floating tubes, and a sisal-wrapped climbing structure.
Part purr-formance piece, part social sculpture, part design solution: The Cats-in-Residence Program integrates Art and rescue to address animal overpopulation in urban areas. -Rhonda Liberman
